The Merchant Boston wanted a nice website to reflect the beautiful interior of the restaurant the day it opened its doors.
I worked closely with the owner of the restaurant and the branding agency that created the logo to make a fully responsive website that took things to a new level: the menu order changes based on time of day – so does the background color of the whole site, making the site easier to read depending on whatever time of day it is.
We also used GiftUp App to offer restaurant-goers a way to easily buy and send digital gift cards to their friends & family. Tracking and managing gift cards also became much easier for the restaurant staff.
And the restaurant menu is easily editable via the WordPress backend – categories of food, prices, and variants are all automatic and dynamically added. Since the menu is HTML (not a PDF) the menu items are more accessible, easier to read on phones, and indexes better in Google.
