Salem, MA is most famous for its witch trials in the 17th century, and if you want to visit and see where those happened you’ll need a place to stay.
Salem Waterfront Hotel is one of the newest hotels in the area, and they hadn’t redesigned their site since they first built it in 2003. 17 years later, King Fish Media designed an amazing new site that I then build out using WordPress’ modern Gutenberg editing experience.
Turns out there’s way more to do in Salem than just witch stuff, and the new site does a great job giving visitors all sorts of other ideas about what else they can do while they’re in town.
We also made sure to make the site work as well as possible with Oracle’s custom booking widget.
By the way, just pretend the “j” at the end of my name is a “y” and you’ll probably say it right 🙂 more about me
